About The Client
Our client is a well-established law firm with a growing Wealth Management Team that's really making waves. They're all about delivering excellent client service while maintaining a supportive, collaborative working environment. The team specialises in estate administration (including multi-jurisdictional cases), Wills, and Lasting Powers of Attorney - so you'll be working on genuinely interesting and varied cases.
About The Role
This is a brilliant full-time, permanent opportunity to support a busy team of fee earners who handle the complex side of private client work. You'll be the organised, proactive backbone that keeps everything running smoothly while helping deliver top-notch service to clients. It's varied, challenging work where attention to detail is absolutely crucial, but you'll be supported every step of the way.
Wealth Management Assistant Responsibilities:
- Manage diaries for the lawyers you support - keeping everyone on track
- Be the friendly, professional voice for clients and third parties via phone and email
- Handle audio and copy typing, plus proofread dictated work to perfection
- Sit in on client meetings to take detailed notes and produce clear meeting records
- Help draft Wills, powers of attorney, and standard client advice letters for lawyer review
- Process payment requests and manage document storage and retrieval
- Provide general administrative support to keep the team organised and efficient
- Ensure clients have the information they need when lawyers are busy elsewhere
Wealth Management Assistant Requirements:
- Experience in legal support roles would be beneficial but not essential
- Exceptional attention to detail - this is absolutely essential
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
- Strong organisational abilities and enjoy organising others
- Initiative and problem-solving skills you can demonstrate from previous roles
- Ability to stay calm and sympathetic when dealing with families in difficult situations
- Team player mentality with a willingness to work toward common goals
- Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively
- Professional approach with a 'can-do' attitude and adaptability
