About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Financial Advisor to step into a senior role managing a focused portfolio of approximately 100 high-value clients across Cardiff and the M4 Corridor. Senior Financial Advisor Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of approximately 100 high-value clients
- Conduct comprehensive financial planning reviews and consultations across Cardiff and M4 Corridor
- Deliver holistic wealth management solutions tailored to individual client circumstances
- Proactively identify opportunities for portfolio growth and additional service provision
- Maintain regular client contact through structured review cycles and ad-hoc consultations
- Develop and execute strategies for client acquisition within your designated territory
- Build and maintain relationships with professional introducers and referral sources
- Ensure all advice delivery meets regulatory standards and firm compliance requirements
- Mentor junior advisors and contribute to team development initiatives
- Represent the firm at networking events and professional gatherings
- Stay current with market developments and regulatory changes affecting client portfolios
- Collaborate with paraplanning teams to ensure efficient service delivery
Senior Financial Advisor Requirements
- Degree qualification or equivalent professional certification
- Chartered Financial Planner status or significant progress towards achievement
- Current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) with up-to-date CPD records
- Minimum 5+ years experience in senior financial advisory roles
- Proven track record of managing high-net-worth client relationships
- Strong technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences
- Experience working with professional introducers and generating referrals
- Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence for client visits across the M4 Corridor
- Strong business development acumen with proven results
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
