About the Role

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive admin and secretarial support to Partners, Directors, and Managers
- Manage meeting room bookings, setups, and maintenance
- Deliver exceptional client service - greeting visitors, arranging parking, and serving refreshments
- Handle switchboard calls, intercom, and messages professionally and efficiently
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and emails, including main office inbox administration
- Process payments, maintain petty cash records, and handle client banking transactions
- Maintain supplier and contractor information, plus key office contacts and utilities data
- Support client onboarding processes including ID checks, system setup, and legal documentation
- Ensure accuracy and currency of client records and internal databases
- Coordinate local office events from invitations through to logistics and follow-up
- Maintain organisation of client records storage systems
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Requirements
- Previous experience in similar administrative or client-facing role
- Friendly and approachable personality with strong client service mindset
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proactive, can-do attitude with keen attention to detail
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Team-oriented approach while capable of working independently
Benefits
- Competitive salary of £24k - £26k DOE
- 36.25 hours per week preferred (minimum 21.75 hours considered)
- 20 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after three years
