About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide comprehensive financial advice to clients, researching the marketplace and advising on products and services on a whole of market basis. You'll be responsible for analysing client information, making tailored recommendations, and ensuring clients understand the options that best meet their needs. Reporting to the Financial Planning Manager or Regional Director, you'll work within a supportive team environment while managing your own client relationships and maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.
Independent Financial Adviser Responsibilities
- Analysing client information to provide suitable, tailored advice
- Presenting advice in a clear, balanced manner
- Completing all documentation, checklists and suitability letters in accordance with FCA
- Maintaining accurate client records
- Preparing for regular and annual review meetings
- Undertaking suitable CPD to maintain competence and keeping training records up to date
- Managing SPS renewal and staying within limits of authorisation
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, colleagues and product providers
- Adhering to all company processes, procedures and compliance requirements
Independent Financial Adviser Requirements
- CII Diploma Level 4 Qualified (or equivalent)
- 7 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English)
- 1+ years' experience in an IFA/Wealth Management environment
- CII Chartered Status Level 6 (desirable)
- Experience of Intelligent Office (desirable)
- Knowledge of financial planning market, products and services
- Working knowledge of FCA Rules, Guidance Notes and requirements
- IT literate, including Microsoft Office suite
- Confident dealing with clients, colleagues and product providers
- Strong time management and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Self-motivated and customer focused
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Competitive salary up to £65K - £75K dependent on experience
