About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, friendly team and provide comprehensive administrative support to three financial advisers who manage diverse client banks. You'll be involved in all aspects of the administrative process, from submitting new business to managing ongoing workflows and liaising with financial providers. The role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to develop your knowledge of the financial services industry while working in a supportive environment. With hybrid working arrangements available after settling into the role, this position offers an excellent balance between office-based collaboration and flexible working.
Financial Services Administrator Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to three financial advisers
- Communicating with financial providers including pension companies, investment platforms, and insurance providers
- Monitoring and managing ongoing workflow to ensure timely processing of client matters
- Maintaining accurate client records and updating case management systems
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and documentation for clients and providers
- Liaising with clients professionally via telephone and email
- Processing financial transactions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Managing diaries and scheduling appointments for financial advisers
- Providing general administrative support as required
- Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive client information
- Ensuring all work meets regulatory and compliance standards
Financial Services Administrator Requirements
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous experience in financial services administration would be beneficial
- Experience with Intelligent Office would be particularly advantageous but not essential
- Professional telephone manner and strong communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Proactive approach with ability to use own initiative
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of financial services industry

- Annual salary from £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience
