About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate events professional to join their Brand Engagement and Customer Experience team. Working alongside another Events Executive and the Client Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality events and corporate hospitality that directly support the firm's commercial objectives. This role offers genuine variety, from intimate client events to large-scale industry conferences across Somerset and Devon.
Events Executive Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end event planning and execution from initial concept through to post-event feedback
- Develop innovative event concepts in collaboration with legal teams and key stakeholders
- Manage comprehensive event logistics including budgets, venues, suppliers, and day-of coordination
- Coordinate presentation materials working closely with the creative team
- Provide hands-on support for events across Somerset and Devon
- Identify and manage the firm's strategic presence at relevant industry events
- Utilise marketing and client data to ensure targeted attendance and maximum engagement
- Support development of new event concepts and hospitality initiatives
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to maintain competitive edge
Events Executive Requirements
- Minimum two years' experience in event management, preferably within professional services
- Strong understanding of the South West events landscape and venue options
- Excellent planning, organisational, and project management capabilities
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Exceptional attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Strategic thinking abilities with commercial awareness
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Marketing and business development understanding
- Degree or marketing/event qualification preferred
