Avocet Commercial Careers is working with an award-winning law firm who have a fantastic opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their friendly, close-knit team in Plymouth.

Conveyancing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Residential Conveyancing team
- Carry out tasks including opening, closing and archiving client files, using the firm’s IT systems and packages, proof reading, dealing with emailed or telephone client enquires
- Submit Land Registry applications, undertake property searches, assist with some client and third-party queries
- Produce documents and assist lawyers with general administrative responsibilities
Conveyancing Assistant Requirements:
- You will be a Law Graduate looking for your first legal role or a Legal Administrator/Legal Assistant looking for a new challenge
- Ideally, you will have experience working within Conveyancing and an understanding of the Conveyancing process as a whole, although this is not essential
- This role is client facing so excellent communication skills are key
- Organised with the ability to handle and prioritise a heavy caseload within a fast-paced environment
- Committed to working within a high standard environment
