Role Overview

Audit Manager Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and control comprehensive audit fieldwork across a diverse client portfolio

Monitor and report on audit performance against key performance indicators

Develop and implement strategic solutions to address audit challenges

Prepare complex financial statements with exceptional attention to detail

Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

Translate complex technical matters into clear, actionable insights

Lead, coach, and develop junior team members

Conduct in-depth technical research to support client and internal team needs

Assist Audit Partners in departmental development and strategic growth

Audit Manager Requirements:

ACA or ACCA qualification with substantial audit management experience

Proven track record of leading and developing audit teams

Comprehensive understanding of UK Financial Reporting Standards

Advanced knowledge of International Auditing Standards

Exceptional leadership and coaching skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Experience with Caseware audit software preferred

Sage Accounts software knowledge advantageous
