Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accounts Technician to join our client's Honiton office. This role offers exceptional flexibility with options for part-time and hybrid working, making it ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance within a supportive professional environment.
Senior Account Technician Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders up to audit threshold
- Develop personal and corporate tax computations and returns
- Deliver bookkeeping and management accounting services
- Manage Companies House and HMRC document filing
- Maintain accurate and current client accounting records
- Handle quarterly VAT return preparation and submission
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide administrative support to Partners and Managers
Senior Account Technician Requirements:
- AAT qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Previous experience at Accounts Technician or Semi-Senior level in practice
- Proven track record in accounts preparation for various business structures
- Strong IT proficiency including Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Independent worker with flexibility
